Anissa Jrad
Anissa is a Research Assistant at CILE, supporting research initiatives and publications, organizing events, and managing digital content and administrative tasks. With a multidisciplinary background, she holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Sciences, Monastir, Tunisia, a Certificate in Computer Science and Multimedia from the University of Montreal, Canada, and a Certificate in Medical Translation and Interpretation from Weill Cornell University, Qatar.
Anissa’s expertise in data management, linguistics, and research enables her to assist with CILE’s projects and initiatives. She previously worked as a Senior Linguistic Annotator at the Linguistic Data Consortium (University of Pennsylvania) and as a Senior Corpus Linguistics Annotator at Carnegie Mellon University Qatar, where she managed large Arabic dataset projects. She also served as a Research Assistant at Qatar University.
